Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) is a global community celebrating live music on Hive. Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.

Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's open mic event attracts 100+ musicians and thousands of listeners each week. We provide a haven for creative expression and genuine connection. All are welcome. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a live music movement, sharing songs with an international audience.
Each week, our community recognizes a Spotlight Artist. This is a person who shares artistry and personality, offering musical performance and generous listening to fellow musicians. Our virtual song circle upholds the pattern of a traditional open mic event, respecting those who listen twice and talk once.
For the 79th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Mirrors on Earth." In Spanish, this means: "Espejos en la Tierra." This theme is selected by Spotlight Artist: @auelitairene. She says her intention with this theme is to honor the masters who reflect back to us the reality of ourselves here on the earthly plane. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Mirrors on Earth.
“Mirrors on Earth”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Mirrors on Earth.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists and share a common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Quiero reconocer que no he cumplido con todos los criterios que aquí exigen pero de aquí en adelante me comprometo a hacerlo ya que en ocasiones me han apoyado con sus relevantes comentarios. Es satisfactorio cuando subimos nuestros post a comunidades donde nos toman en cuenta y el aprecio debe ser mutuo. Con referente al tema seleccionado debo decirles que es extraordinario. En lo que a mi respecta por la selección de temas referidos me cuesta porque me gusta expresarme a través de la salsa. Es posible que dentro de poco entre con un tema más suave y en otro género y también con temas venezolanos ya que mi padre @jpulido0306 viene sugiriéndome que tenemos que darle más vida a nuestra música venezolana. Muchas gracias a los amigos de esta extraordinaria comunidad.
