Rick asked me on Facebook if Skip put us in her will. She died Sunday. No. We are probably not in Skip's will. Unless if there are a few home videos Dick took from the 1960s that Skip wanted to give up. It's odd she is not even in those videos. Why would she want to hide those videos from others? Yeah. That's China Man Jack's pool, last time I was there was around 2018. We also went to Portland and Jack and his wife took me and dad to McDonald's by North Plains. 2023-05-04 - Thursday - 03:20 PM - Operating System Log.
It worked. I used the software program file named Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.3.exe on my external 4 TB HDD in the software folder, nickname UUI, I used it to install the Debian Mate 11 operating system (OS) or whatever it is onto a 8 GB Tbrown Kingston (EFI USB Device, KingstonDataTraveler 2.0) thumb drive. I have previously failed today and other times in 2023 this year to do this. I would run into errors and what have you. This time around, I may have ran into similar errors. But it may work now regardless. I put the thumb drive in my Yoga 2016 laptop. I try to boot from it. I click F2 to go into BIOS to tell it to boot from the USB stick first. In the past, it would say not a bootable disk meaning the content on the USB pen drive. This time around, it said the same thing. But then I went back into the BIOS and changed the settings to UEFI or something like that because the name of the OS, the file name itself, said EFI. I think I have not tried this option before. I may have saw it in the file name too on Yoga that it is EFI. But I also knew it was EFI on my ASUS laptop where I installed the files onto the USB drive itself. So, after telling the BIOS in Yoga to boot from UEFI, it booted into the USB drive, the screen says Debian 11: Live Boot Menu with GRUB. I can boot into the live system, the safe mode version of the live system or it is called fail-safe mode, I can start the installer, I can start the installer with speech synthesis for the hearing impaired I guess, there are advanced install options, there are Utilities. There is enter boot. There is a command-line option. Those are the words and options on the screen right now.
Update
I was unable to install Debian onto Yoga. As I went through installation of the OS, but ran into an error. I think it said it was not detecting drives. I think it was trying to say it could not see the internal hard drive in my Yoga. I was thinking it might be something to do with the EFI or UEFI thing. Not sure. I could be wrong. But I am thinking of trying to install a different version of the OS that is not EFI. I might try that later.

2023-05-04 - Thursday - 06:28 PM - My Files Log. 23.4 GB total without the 13 zip files. 33,964 items, 46.7 GB including the zip files but 23.4 GB without the zip files.
2023-04 - GOOGLE TAKEOUT - 46.7 GB, 33,989 items. A total of 13 main zip files. First two folders are from Google Cloud. The next eleven folders are from mom's Google Takeout which is coming from Google Photos. The total size is 46.7 GB which includes the 13 zip files which are around two GB per zip file. But without the zip files, it's around 23 GB. Some of the photos date back to 2016 and perhaps a bunch of photos from some if not each of the years since 2016 through into the current year 2023. There are also a few other files from like before 2016 here and there as well in minority. But only a few I think. There are photos of mom, me, Rick, family, friends, other people, at LMS, Larry, Williams, other people, places.

Each day, I publish these entries, posts, articles, web pages, stories, etc, to websites, etc. This is mostly a personal blog, diary, journal, or autobiography. I teach class sometimes at night. However, some of this may be useful, applicable, inspirational, educational, entertaining, etc. However, the template here is mostly that of a boring log. I've included my watch log near the bottom of this post listing some of the videos I've viewed. At the very bottom are some of my favorite links worth sharing. Dear diary journal blog, I got up at 10:50 AM. Forget dreams or something about being on American Idol or like American Got Talent. Also other things too. I forget the details. The end. Cliff and a guy are out there in raspberry bed area talking to Larry. Ok. Some tangerines green. Throw away plastic bag cuz of that said mom. Ok. Breakfast, 11:20 AM. Helped grab red coffee containers up on the high shelf near the circuit breaker to check contents and dates of expiration and everything, I do this a few times a year or random times. Just a few minutes or less of work each time. I help out with this kind of thing maybe a few times a month or less since 2018 at LMS on average. Random times. When dealing with stuff up high or heavy items. Mom stuck a finger thing on me. Temperature 98 degrees. Resting heart beat was 68. Around 02:40 PM, mom was like oh there is a new ant problem again. So I sweep outside by the front door. We moved everything off the sidewalk there and around the bushes on her room's side. I used the hose to spray the outside walls and sidewalks. Also swept back yard sliding door too. Not as hot today as yesterday. Maybe it rained last night. Little cloudy now. Back here at 02:58 PM. Little itchy. YUMI was not working past several hours as I tried YUMI and other programs to burn Debian Mate 11. I think that is the name of the OS or it is a customized version of Debian 11 to include a Mate GUI. Copied the 11 zip files from mom's Google Takeout from April of 2023, one of her Google emails and accounts, the files are from her Google Takeout, this appears to be around 23 GB. It was going slow via a 1 TB blue thumb drive of mine but faster via my new phone I bought and got this week, probably a newer version of USB is the reason files can transfer faster. Lunch like 02:00 PM or something. Dinner, 05:31 PM. Food log: Breakfast: coffee, tangerines, 11:20 AM. Lunch: oatmeal, 02:00 PM or something. Dinner: good vegi salad thing, 05:31 PM. I usually would have a habit of checking my Facebook around the start of our class like almost daily. But past few days, I have not been on Facebook. I usually only come on Facebook for class and that is it. So it's like I only check my Facebook like once a day normally. But it's a good habit for me to check my Facebook sometimes. So, I will make sure I always check my Facebook around the start of class. So, don't worry. I missed class today. My bad. I'm sorry. It won't happen again.

EXPERIMENT with different KEYWORDS, SEARCH ENGINES, ETC, in order to find my content in the future. Feel free to steal my content. But please don't then sue me for my own content. Feel free to clip me. Download my content while you still can as I may be banned again. I've been kicked off the Internet many times over the years since at least 2010 or longer.
