Mining $XMR is pretty easy once you set it up. Hive-Engine witnessing is more of a challenge because we are constantly having to fix issues and keep the side chain running. But it pays some bills.
From what I hear about mining, you probably need a lot of computing power and should be very good at math. Is that the case for mining XRM too? I guess hive is more challenging cos it's bigger and more complex. Is that the case?
No, the only math you really need to know is how much you are being rewarded for the power you are using. For XMR, anything with a CPU can mine it. More powerful the better yes, but it’s not about that for me, it’s about supporting the network and making it more decentralized.

One huge problem is people give that verbal atta-boy and a tiny upvote that isn’t worth a penny and think that’s supporting the project or community. It’s not.

Mining $XMR is pretty easy once you set it up. Hive-Engine witnessing is more of a challenge because we are constantly having to fix issues and keep the side chain running. But it pays some bills.
From what I hear about mining, you probably need a lot of computing power and should be very good at math. Is that the case for mining XRM too? I guess hive is more challenging cos it's bigger and more complex. Is that the case?
No, the only math you really need to know is how much you are being rewarded for the power you are using. For XMR, anything with a CPU can mine it. More powerful the better yes, but it’s not about that for me, it’s about supporting the network and making it more decentralized.

Anyone can set up a Hive or Hive Engine witness, but it’s a big popularity contest where the top 20 are the only ones who regularly get paid. I run a Hive Engine node because that is where I have built my businesses and I am in the top 20. I wouldn’t come close as a regular Hive witness.

I only run the Hive-Engine witness and it's under my account name. It's too expensive to run a Hive witness and not get paid for it.

US stock markets finished the first day of the week in positives ahead of important #inflation data and the #Fed's #interest rate decision to be announced this week. Dow closed at its highest level since January 5, 2022.
Following last week's strong employment data that supported the stock rally, investors now turn their attention to the final #Fed meeting of the year and key #inflation data.

when a developing country are given the opportunity to learlearn about new business opportunities like the crypto marketing campaign, there growth will be amazing
indeed there will be a growth but I don't know why government are against crypto. And one major reason is that they know it can't be control by them and they want everything to be under their control.
I really love the education aspect of Web3 which one of the projects is taking care of especially in Africa. Many people in this part of the world have zero knowledge of web3 and blockchain technology. I also love the idea of Hackaton coming up some time in 2024. Such educational projects would really help to bring Africa to web3 and bridge this wide divide we are experiencing here.

Building as a major focus is an interesting part of looking on space involvement and introducing users to the platform. When users are introduced their minds should be moved away from the earnings and more onknowledge.
New users should learn how the platform works, study hard and learn about Web3 and the cryptographic world. That should be the first task, before thinking about monetizing.
Each web3 project should focus fully on delivering a tangible value to their target market. Instead of having too many products that are either not functional or not suited to the market. Founders also need to be patient and build. Building might take time and resources before they capture the market. Ha ha, Im still testing them for most challenging situations, trying to find best of the best. No real accounts with real funds yet.
Once i go for real crypto, seeds encrypted in my own way and style will be stored on the stainless steel or titanium plates.. And the same wallet with the same seed can be imported in multiple wallets from different vendors.
Now that's smart.
