About FULL Votes, Sliders and Vote Value
First of all, you may not realize that you can give Full or Partial Up votes. It is selected by a slider and you won't have one until you have 500 Steem Power, I believe. I like to Vote for a Lot of people, and we're only allotted about 10 FULL 100% UP Votes a day, so I set my slider around 25% so I can Up vote around 40 posts a day!
But for people who meet the requirements and Reply to THIS Post, I will UP vote your comment with my slider set to 100% giving you a vote worth about $3 at current prices. But it's really worth much more because most of that reward is given in Steem Dollars (SBD) and SBD are worth about 6 times what Steemit uses to put that $3 value on my vote. They value SBD at $1 when calculating the $ number under a Post or Reply but it's been way above that for over a month now!

Hi ibu, nice to meet you, but sorry to hear of your girl troubles. I think it makes you a full fledged member of the human adult population because I think we all have had relationship issues. My only advice would be to think outward instead of inward until you feel better. Maybe volunteer in your community or throw yourself into writing about things that make you happy here on Steemit.

I’m just a regular father of three living in Toronto Canada. I’m on here because I found Steemit through my research into cryto currency. Don’t really have a set plan on how to use it but I’m inspired by the platform to start writing and blogging for the first time ever and I’ve been on the internet since day one.
I think the world needs more regular fathers to set a good example for their children and society in general. Maybe the kid will be on Steemit too someday. It's a great place to learn about and acquire some crypto. Maybe your plan is not to have a plan but to try different things here and see what works. That's a good plan that I use in many situations. I've been online for a while too, and this place reminds me very much of the early days of YouTube. If Steemit is just 1% as successful, then I think we'll see our time here well rewarded in many ways.

I think earning anything on this site is very hard if you don't have a lot of money to begin with to use the bigger bots and sp delegation leasing services, and if you aren't able to communicate fluently in the same languages as some of the more... generous users. There isn't actually much of a point to writing your own blog posts, at least in the beginning, if followers don't have big upvote power. Maybe you can try to get in touch with chat groups on steemit that can point you in the right direction. I wish you luck on steemit and in life for you and your kids.

Hello I am Sid I see my self as a regular 9 to 5 guy or some times the 10 pm to 7am guy (depending upon the shift that I am assigned to). Since I am a tech support guy. Typically who you would speak to if you called up the techsupport number to fix your desktop or laptop. Yes I give support and help them fix there computers. Beyond this I am trying to establish an identity on steemit that would liberate my inner self and give me freedom to express my creative side and give a window to vent my emotions and thoughts.

I know you can earn extra income here because I do that and so do many others. I've been too busy to look through my feed lately but today I took some time and found this post of yours. I no longer qualify, so I'm not seeking one of your generous votes. I just wanted to say that I'm happy to see others supporting the little guys as I have been doing almost since I started here. It's not easy to grow without buying your way in and I am experiencing that first hand as I grow slowly but steadily. Everything I earn I roll into SP so that my own votes will distribute more to those who I vote for. I run a daily adventure game in order to make it fun to earn. I also run a weekly contest where all valid entries get an up-vote and someone gets a chance to win a bit more. I'm trying hard to get people used to READING posts and engaging with them, but that is a lot harder than I had anticipated. People expect huge rewards before they are motivated enough to put in a bit of effort. Regardless, I will keep trying until my rewards are large enough. In the meantime, THANKS to you for doing your part in getting people to engage on this platform. I look forward to the day this platform becomes a social media giant and everyone becomes a winner!

I agree that it is important to engage with others and I used to do a lot of that. Unfortunately I recently learned I have a tumor in my body so I need to spend more time at healing myself and that leaves less time for Steem until I get better. The zombie adventure game takes at least a couple of hours out of each day but I try to keep my obligations so I make sure to keep it up as well as my weekly contests. I will get back to curating as time allows.

I was introduced into steemit by my friends. It was a great opportunity earn something extra on the side. I was very interested in investing into cryptocurrency, but wasnt very clear about the whole deal.
Well now m education myself thru steemit. Very informative in eveything esp cryptocurrencies.
Hello Dilresh, nice to meet you! I do think Steemit offers a great opportunity for everyone. There is a lot to learn but you can earn as you learn. You don't have to invest your own money unless you want to. You can just invest with your Steemit profits. That's what I have done and I'm happy with the results so far! Best wishes to you!
You know, I set an alarm to be on time for this post but somehow I dismissed the alarm and forgot about it. Silly me. Well, I'm Stanley. I'm a Nigerian and Doctor. I was never really so interested in social media until I got introduced to steemit. I joined a month ago, Now I can't get enough of it. I mostly joined to supplement my pay as well as raise funds towards my research projects which I have created a separate steemit account for (@neo-stemresearch ). I have met a lot of interesting and amazing people here. Honestly, I think this is the best thing that has happened to me in a while.

I first came to Steemit a year ago now, but found the platform too complicated for me to understand and went with Niume instead. However, just before Xmas the website Niume.com was taken down for some reason and I lost all my blog posts. So now I am back to Steemit to really try hard to understand the whole Crypto side of it, as the I see the potential of "Steem" as a Crypto currency only just beginning and "Steemit" as a really exciting platform for all bloggers in every genre :) Happy Steeming :)

I love the community support towards each other, and it was such a great platform to get to know like minded people. And i been learning a lot on crypto currency (though i am still blur about it most time). Currently I am mainly blogging my adventures and misadventures about life. :)

Very cool of you @kenny-crane! I came here to steemit initially because i've gotten into crypto over the past 6 months and this is a great source for news and opinions. Now I'm on here blogging about my dog Floppy. He just had back surgery :( We couldn't really afford it, but love him so much and had no choice so we charged it. I'm blogging about his recovery to try and pay for the bills. If I don't win a vote here, perhaps you can check out the latest blog post and vote there...I'm really working hard to try and pay for this surgery. Hey, I'm david and I am a student in my final year and I joined steemit less than a month ago, I love meeting people on the internet to prove to some people that the internet is also used for positive things. Before I joined steemit, I used to just write little articles and short poems, really short poems in a book and left it there but as I joined steemit, my writing skills improved and I now write articles and post them where people see them and recognize my work, tell me... what more can I ask for. Yes, sometimes I feel left out in the cold. I am new here on Steemit and it's not easy learning the rhythm that goes for the platform. Additionally, I have to translate on google. It takes a long time for me to read the text. I am originally speaking and reading and writing Swedish. But otherwise it's fun. I give it a try and I am learning! I don't think I am going to be a millionaire so soon. sigh ;-)) Thank you for giving back!
Sometimes when you're out in the cold, the best thing to do is build a snowman and see who comes to look and help! Steemit is fun and there is a lot to learn, but do a little at a time. Best wishes to you!
It is easier said than done, all the snow has melted, we got 30 cm in a day, after that it was gone. So any snowman was not. I live in the north we usually have at least 40-50 cm from Dec-March-April. On your picture, it looks cold, where do you live? :-)
I'm in Charlotte, NC in the US. It rarely snows here, so when it does, everyone takes pics!
